Summary

• Cisco Security has detected significant activity related to French-language spam email messages that claim to contain an online order notification for the recipient. The text in the email message attempts to convince the recipient to open the attachment for details. However, the .zip attachment contains a malicious .vbs file that, when executed, attempts to infect the system with malicious code.

Email messages that are related to this threat (RuleID8780) may contain the following files:
