A vulnerability in the Cisco WebEx Meetings Server Enterprise License Manager web portal could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to view the administrative password for Cisco WebEx Meetings Server in clear text.

The vulnerability is due to the inclusion of the Cisco WebEx Meetings Server password in the source code of the Cisco Enterprise License Manager web page. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by viewing the source code of a vulnerable web page in a browser.

Cisco has confirmed the vulnerability in a security notice and released software updates.

To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker must first authenticate to a targeted device. This access requirement reduces the likelihood of a successful exploit.

Cisco indicates through the CVSS score that functional exploit code exists; however, the code is not known to be publicly available.
