Overview

Microsoft PowerPoint contains an information disclosure vulnerability. As a result, sensitive information may be exposed to untrusted parties.

Description

Microsoft PowerPoint fails to properly restrict access to objects in the Temporary Internet Files Folder (TIFF). This vulnerability is triggered when PowerPoint attempts to render HTML, but the specific details are unspecified. Note that the attacker must have specific knowledge of objects within the TIFF directory to retrieve them.

A remote attacker may be able to read sensitive information stored in the TIFF directory.
