The vulnerability affects the update service for PDF document viewing software called Foxit PDF Reader (previously Foxit Reader) and the PDF file editing software called Foxit PDF Editor (previously Foxit PhantomPDF). This vulnerability allows attackers to escalate their privileges and execute arbitrary code.
