Workaround Applying the following steps will allow KB5022498to be installed:
  • Uninstall 4.8 February update (KB5022502 )
  • Run command from elevated Command Promp: dism/online /cleanup-image /StartComponentCleanup
  • Scan for windows update again, 4.8.1 February update (KB5022498) installs as expected.
    Resolution| On March 29, 2023, KB5022498 was re-released to correct this issue.
